Google Calendar New Event Trigger WordPress Post with Featured Image

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings.

There are no data mapping fields listed under the New Event trigger that relate to the image I attach in the Google Calendar event. I assumed there would be a field called ‘attachement’ or something similar, but there isn’t. When creating the Google Calendar event the only way to add an attachment is within the ‘description’ field, but if I select the ‘Description’ mapping field as shown above it tells me there is no data to upload.

Did you select a Zap trigger example that has values for the Description field?

If you need to extract a URL from a string of text, use this Zap action: Formatter > Text > Extract URL

Oh! That makes sense. No, I wasn’t selecting a trigger example that had an attachment. I’ve changed the trigger example and now see the ‘Attachments File URL’ field mapping option.  

Unfortunately, now when I do a test of the connection I get the following error:

Failed to create a media in WordPress

403 Forbidden: Access Denied. Please see common causes and fixes for 403 errors at https://zapier.com/help/doc/common-problems-wordpress#403-forbidden-error.

I don’t have JetPack Protect installed, but my host is GoDaddy Managed WordPress hosting. I’m sure includes some type of Firewall. Not sure how to allow Zapier file uploads.

It’s still not working. Thought I’d made progress (I can now see the image URL in Google Drive is correct, as is the filename (as seen in the attached screenshot), but I still get the 403 Forbidden: Access Denied error.
