Facebook Conversions - The app returned "API calls from the server require an appsecret_proof argument".

I am an admin with full permissions on the page, ad account, and pixel. But am getting this error message when I try to reconnect a connection that says it’s “expired”

I am also getting this error as of today, and cannot reconnect my Zapier to my FB business account.

This is a problem!!!

I’ve been dealing with this exact problem since yesterday and it’s stressing me out! Providing some more screenshots as context for the Zapier team:

I tried deleting the Zapier integration from FB Business manager and re-adding. This is a screenshot of what it says in FB Business Manager:
 

 

I really hope this issue gets escalated! I chatted with the Zapier support team yesterday and they told me to monitor the situation (this was before I tried deleting and re-connecting the app within Zapier per their help article’s troubleshooting recommendations, which ruined EVERYTHING. I can’t connect at all now). I followed up in the email transcript of my conversation with them but got no response.

 

This morning I submitted a fresh ticket with an updated list of everything that I’ve tried. I just hope it’s fixed soon!

@ken.a I noticed on some similar posts that you’re Zapier Staff and wanted to loop you in on this one. The error appears to be the same from a bug 3 months ago.

Any word on if the team has identified what’s going on? I keep checking the Incident History but haven’t seen any new posts about it.

I got the same response at 4:48 EST. Glad there’s movement on this! Hope the FB API team works quickly on deploying a fix.

This is so annoying! I'm having this error today as well.

 

I'm having this issue since this weekend.

 

I have important campaigns going on and this is breaking all our business workflows here.

 

Anyone have a fix for this error yet?
