Salesforce to Quickbooks invoice creation

I’ve been running a zap for months thats worked, but it just stared throwing an error with the product/service section.

Correct: took the product type from SF and placed it into the product service field in the invoice.

Now the product service is going in as “sales”.
Here is an example of it working prior to the bug: 

 

 

 

Now invoices show: 

 

 

in the Zap step create invoice action step i have it mapped (as before when it was working)

when i test it i see this data in:

 

and this data out:

 

 

Can anybody help me get this working please?

For others searching for answers here is the solution…

Step 6 create invoice

Action step

product/service field

choose find product (from step 5)

And select the one with an ID not the text name - eg ID 8 not “medals” in my case

Hi @PinMaker 

The QBO field for Product/Service expects a number value as indicated by the 123 icon.

The field expects the ID of the QBO Product/Service.

Thank you troy.
I had a “find product” step prior to create invoice, but based con your reply i deleted and recreated this step

 

Then went back to step 6 - create invoice and now i see a number in the id 

 

 

but when i run the test i still get “sales” in the product field

 


Any other suggestions? TIA

You may need to retest Step 5 and remap the desired variable from Step 5 since it is showing the (!) and highlighted in yellow border indicating a possible issue.

 

In Zap Runs, for a step, for the DATA IN, if you see {{VAR}} then that means the mapped variable was blank/empty/invalid/missing/null.
