I’m trying to create a Zap that creates a calendar entry in Teamup whenever I create an event in my CRM (Zoho Bigin). The problem is that no matter what I try, in testing the Teamup component of the zap I repeatedly get a message that says “You do not have the required permissions to do this . . . “. The connection to Teamup is working fine -- it’s only when I test the zap that the error generates. Connection to Teamup happens through the Teamup API, along with a “calendar link.” The way it works in Teamup, you create a link to a specific calendar. Each link has specified permissions. I’ve created links in Teamup that have both “adminstrator” and “modifier” permissions, but both generate the “You don’t have permission to do this” error. I’ve tried to do other actions through the Zap in teamup, and they in fact work (like searching for an event in Teamup to delete), so it does in fact seem like this is a permissions problem. But like I said, the link I created has admin privileges in Teamup, so I really don’t understand why I’m getting this error.
Any suggestions, anyone? Any help is much appreciated.

Teamup Integration: Permission Problem

Update for anyone reading this thread in the future: I think I found the source of the problem. I believe I was trying to update a sub-calendar that did not actually exist in Teamup. The message that Teamup returned telling me that I didn’t have permission to compete the action wasn’t exactly a very good description of what was going on, of course, but that’s not the first time a misleading error message sent someone down a useless rabbit hole. Anyway, be aware, all.
