Samsara error: error while retrieving multipleChoiceValue is not defined.


I’ve setup a zap to add a new row to a google sheet when a document is submitted in Samsara but keep getting this error when testing the Samsara step: Error code: Error while retrieving: multipleChoiceValue is not defined. 

Anyone run into this before?

Help us have more context by posting screenshots with how your steps are outlined and configured along with the encountered error.

@Troy Tessalone, I’ve reconnected my Samsara Zap app and followed instructions in the help article from Samsara but am still getting the same error when testing the trigger. Any other ideas?

I reached out to samsara support and they reviewed the API logs and it looks like Samsara is providing the info in the requested document and has successful response request to the Zapier integration. 

I’m thinking it has something to do with the way Zapier is handling the multiple choice fields in the response. I created a test document type that did not include any multiple choice fields and updated my Zap to request that document type and everything worked as expected. 

Any ideas on how to proceed from here?

Most Zap app integrations are created and managed by the app developer on the Zapier Developer Platform, so it may be up to Samsara to fix their Zap app integration (not Zapier).

I am having the same issue and have gotten same response from Samsara. Have you had any luck solving this issue?
