Removal of Mailchimp Group not working

JortArie

Hi all 👋

I am trying to make a Zap in which a Mailchimp subscriber is removed from certain Mailchimp Groups (or Interest ID’s), while remaining in the other Groups.

According to Zapier’s explanation, I should be able to do so with the Replace Groups functionality set to “Replace Matching” (see below).

I have tried this, but the result is that the selected groups (that should be cleared of any value) are actually filled with those values, see below:

Do you have any idea how I can accomplish deleting/clearing only the selected groups, while maintaining the other groups?

Thanks heaps!

Yes, I’ve done that type of logic using a Code step to detemermine

  1. Keep
    1. aka ignore
  2. Add
  3. Remove

Hi @JortArie

Replace Matching means it will clear any existing groups, and replace with those selected below. (wording is not very clear in the screenshot)

Hi @Troy Tessalone
Ah, that clarifies a lot already. Thanks!|
Do you have any idea how I can figure out deleting/clearing only the selected groups, while maintaining the other groups?
