Move File in Dropbox Error - Failed to create a file in Dropbox (file/folder not found)


Intended Outcome

  1. New File gets added to Dropbox folder
  2. If the New File contains “Completion” it should get moved to a different folder in Dropbox

Current Zap

 

On the third step (Move File in Dropbox), I am receiving the following error

 

Here is how the Action for step 3 is configured

 

I don’t understand the error or how to configure differently? Any ideas?

Good question.

You’ll need to map the File Path not the File Name.

Hey there, @Alvah! Thanks for reaching out! I wanted to pop in and see if Troy’s suggestion helped. I can also see you were able to open a ticket with support and Dennis offered a similar solution:
 

Regarding the file name, I have checked on this Zap and I suspect the Zap might be expecting something else rather than the file name on this step.
 
Can we try using the file path and see if that helps?
