Question

Identify which State a Zipcode is from

Hi, we have a form that collects zip codes (in the US), and we want to easily be able to figure out which state they are in.

 

Is there an easy way to do this in Zapier?

Hi @nicholas 

You’d need to establish some sort of lookup table (GSheets or Airtable) or leverage and app’s API to do this data translation.

Try doing some GSearches as there are free resources available to scrape together your own lookup table of Zips and States to use in your Zap.

There are free api services such as https://www.zipcodeapi.com/API if you are making less than 10 requests/hour.
