Setting Up integration wiith Zapier

Is it possible to set up zapier as a middleware between an API and frontend?

Instead of doing the full blown integration, we wanted to use zapier to call and API and than use zapier again to send the information from the API to the front-end we have.

Is that possible? If yes, can someone point me to the right direction? Thanks in advance!

Good question.

Zaps are generally used for back end (server to server) automation.
