How can I get Jotform and Hubspot to work with Hubspot IDs?

My eyes are getting blurry from trying to figure this out and staring at my computer for so long.

I hope I’m just having a dumb moment and someone can help.

I’m trying to integrate Jotform to Hubspot through Zapier so that when a form is submitted through JotForm, the related Hubspot Deal is updated.

However, Zapier requires a “Deal ID” field.

Since we’re asking clients to submit these JotForms to provide us with our information, they don’t know their “Deal ID.” The “Deal ID” field is required...is there a way around this?

Hi @raininstantpay - welcome to the Community!

You’ll need to add a search step into the Zap that finds the deal based on the details that you get from JotForm. When that search step finds the deal, it will give you the ID to use in the Update Deal step.

So your Zap will look a bit like this:

Trigger: New form it JotForm

Action: HubSpot - Find Deal

Action: HubSpot - Update Deal

I hope that’s clear, let me know if you have any questions!
