Two way zaps between calendars

I have a Zap set up to update my Google calendar when entries are put in my Outlook calendar and works great. If I set up a similar Zap to update my Outlook calendar when my Google calendar has a new entry will this cause conflicts?

Hi @Sean1965, that’s a great question!

If you set up that kind of two way sync, it wont create conflicts, but you’re likely to create a Zap loop where updating one calendar updates the second, which in turn updates the first and so on in a never ending chain of Zaps!

Generally we don’t recommend Zapier for two way syncing, it’s best to have one source of truth for your calendar and then update that as necessary. If you do want to give this a go, we do have a guide that can help you to avoid creating a loop: Zap stuck in a loop
