How to trigger when an email in Gmail is archived

Hello,

 

I wanted to create a ZAP that marks an email as READ when it’s archived. But I can’t find how to set the trigger for “When email is archived”

Hi @patrickmast 

I would use the New Email Matching Search which uses the same gmail search words you can use from the search bar. The search words would be ‘in:archive’

Oh, Thanks!!

Even Google’s own documentation does not mention ‘in:archive’.

I tried “in:archive is:unread”, but that does not give any result ;-)

You may need to use “in:archive” followed by a filter to check that it is unread.
