Question

Posting directly to Zapier from PHP

I wanted to know if it was possible to directly POST data to a zap from a website, and then have zap format that data and send it to an app.  The form I am posting from is written in PHP.

Is there an API that can help make this easier? otherwise I would have to post to an app that Zapier can use.  I basically want to cut out the middle man.
