Create Issue in Jira action - mapping fields from FormKeep trigger

Hi,

In the Setup Jira action section, I need to know how to use “ID: TODO” as I am trying to pass the message contents of a Formkeep form to a Jira text field called “Description”
Any ideas?

Thank you

Hi @fc01

Are you using Jira Cloud or Jira Server?

Can you provide screenshots of the Zap step with the fields you mentioned?

Hello Troy

I’d like the “message” (ie the text “contribution”, see image below) to be passed on to the “Description” see image above)

Hello Troy,
     Problem now solved!

It was because we were trying to configure the Jira triggers actions before sending a submission, so the Trigger (see below) could not see any fields to suggest (here the one of interest was “message”).

So, we went back and chose a test trigger from a submission, and then in the Jira triggers actions, we could see “message”

What must be remembered is that the actions of the 2nd box depend on having sent a sample submission beforehand.

Thank you
