Unable to connect with odoo self host authentication failed

When I’m filling the authentication spaces, there is one for the Base URL, but it asks me for a different URL than https://*.odoo.com accounts. How do I get a different URL account? Do I have to use my own domain?

Hey, @Tony96 ! Just following up here to see if Troy’s answer helped. As he noted, The Odoo CRM integration only works if your CRM is hosted on odoo.com. If it’s hosted elsewhere, it won’t work. It sounds like this might be the issue that you’re running into.

  • Admin/owner permissions: Only works with instances that are hosted at odoo.com and will not work for self-hosted instances.
For self-hosted instances, use the OpenERP integration.
