Connect G Suite status dashboard RSS Feed to Hangouts Chat Room

Hello,

Has anyone successfully added the G Suite status RSS feed to a specific Hangouts Chat Room?

which is what I get from the RSS icon on this page (https://www.google.com/appsstatus#hl=en&v=status). But the test fails to connect.

Thanks for sending the link. I took a look a the page and it had an RSS link at the bottom, the RSS url for the page is: https://www.google.com/appsstatus/rss/en_GB

When I use the dashboard website URL (https://www.google.com/appsstatus#hl=en) I get this Error.

@iantcook You're getting that error, because the dashboard isn't a RSS feed URL.

I understand that but the first one i tried is and I still received a reply that "no data could be found".

Hi @iantcook I think that the first thing that we need to do is to confirm that the url will go to a publicly available RSS feed.

The two urls that you've used so far don't seem to be RSS feeds. Could you perhaps send us a link to the page that you're trying to get a feed for?

That's what I am using, I just had to skip the test in my zap creation and will now wait for a GSuite status change to see what comes through to my Chat Room. Thanks.
