Schedule a post to instagram from a Google Sheet

Hi,

I’m wondering if there is a way I can use google sheets to post to Instagram but scheduled to post at a certain day and time in the future. I did a search but was unable to find an answer.

To clarify I want to fill cells with the image, post text, and hashtags. Then a time and date for it to post.

or maybe there is another program I could use instead of Google Sheets like Airtable.

Hi @BlueLion,

Zapier doesn’t have an integration to post into Instagram natively, however, there is a way to get this done. You will need to use Zapier’s Buffer integration and Buffer will post to Instagram. Here’s the workflow you can build:

  • Use schedule by zapier as a trigger to run the Zap at certain times
  • Use Google Sheet’s ‘Lookup Spreadsheet Row” to find the row to post content from
  • Use Buffer action to post to Instagram

There are other alternatives to buffer like HootSuite and Facebook page connection.
