How to automate shipping label printing from Shopify to Trello using Shippo and Zapier

I am creating a new automation, and found a sticking point. currently I have set up whenever a new shopify order comes in a card gets written to trello with all necessary information about the order.

 

when the order is fulfilled, Ideally, the card would be moved from the trello “inbound” list to the “shipping” list. at this point is where I’m stuck, and not sure if it’s possible.

 

when the card is moved to the shipping list, I’d like to have zapier lookup the order id on shippo (or other zapier approved shipping service that can connect to shopify) and print out the shipping label, ie bring up the print dialog with the label.

 

is this possible with the zapier to shippo integration? like I mentioned, I’m open to using another shipping service that also links to shopify.

Welcome to the Community.

 

This workflow uses Zapier's multi-step Zaps to automate order processing: a new Shopify order triggers the creation of a Trello card with order details. After a delay (for example, until the order status changes), the Trello card moves to a new list, and Shippo generates a shipping label. Using the Shopify order ID as a familiar identifier ensures seamless integration. A premium Zapier plan may be required for this setup.

thanx for the quick response. these are the same steps I’ve outlined, so that confirms I’m on the correct track. the only stopping point is when the card is moved to the list that kicks off the zap which creates the shipping label on shippo, does the label print, or do we need to log into shippo to print the label?
