How to Create an Airtable Search Formula: Search by Field1

Hi!

Can you help me create an Airtable search formula for Zapier?

Currently, I have a zap set up with a 'Search by Field': 'Email Address'.
I want to add one step - if 'Email Address' isn't found, then the zap should Search by 'Secondary Email Address'.

For Context, in my Airtable I have two fields in my CRM: Email Address and Secondary Email address.
People book Calendly events using either Email Address or Secondary Email Address.

For every Calendly event booked, I want the zap to find the correct Airtable record matching by Email Address or, if not found, by Secondary Email Address.

Thanks for your help!

Hi @LaraCFI

Try this Airtable Search Formula.

OR({FIELD X}="",{FIELD Y}="")
