Debugging - Failed Zaps Cannot Be Edited with Relevant Data

regarding this post 2 years ago
How to reuse data from Zap History to debug a Zap? | Zapier Community

Is it actually not possible to reuse the data a zap failed on? We can rerun the zap on its data but we can’t edit it. Seems odd because the data is obviously there and it would make things pretty convenient. How do you manage to debug on it?

I read this but unfortunately the data isn’t being used in my draft. It only runs on the latest publish zap. I want to have the data in my draft to troubleshoot.

For Zap trigger steps, the returned record examples will be one of these depending on the app…

  1. representative dummy data records
  2. 3 recent real records

@Troy Tessalone can I somehow get my data from the error and import it into the zap? Is there any node I’m not aware of to create a dummy of my data from the failed zap?
