Having to duplicate multiple Zaps per client, which can become a very tedious and inordinate task, especially when there are multiple external connections per zap, specifically google sheets and slack.
Would love assistance with organizing this process.

If there are different Zap app connections used, then those have to be updated per Zap step and necessitate separate Zaps.
There are ways to optimize Zap step design, but that depends on the apps being used, the triggers/actions being used in Zap steps, and the logic of the Zap steps.
The advanced approach is to use app APIs to handle the requests and authentication to different accounts.
