Jira Software Cloud : enable to assign a ticket to specific user

I have integrated my custom GPT with Jira software cloud, when creating issues on Jira through Zapier AI Actions, Im unable to assign the ticket to a specific email address even though that email address is being added to my project.

Hi there @Israa Junaid, welcome to the Community! 🎉 

It might be that you’d need to select the user using their ID number instead of their email address - similar to how it works in a Zap when selecting a custom value from a dropdown field. Try setting up a Jira Find User AI Action. That should allow the GPT to search for the existing user to find their ID number, then the GPT can use that in the Create Issue action that it runs to select the correct Assignee.
