Mailchimp campaign for tagged subscribers

Hi there,

Does anyone know if it's possible to send an email to a Mailchimp audience for specifically "Tagged" subscribers using Zapier

I can only see a way of sending to the entire Audience.

Hi @Currently Jason! Are you looking to send out a campaign to all tagged members at the same time (ie when your Zap trigger)? Or would you like to have an email sent to a subscriber when you add a tag to them?

 

If it’s the first one, then the Send Campaign action will send a draft campaign that’s already created in MailChimp, so you’ll need set up the Campaign in MailChimp first - including the audience that you’d like to send it to. 

 

If it’s the second one, then you need to create a campaign in MailChimp that’s automated so that it will send an email out when a tag is added to a Subscriber. This guide from MailChimp explains how you can set up campaigns that are automated in that way: About Automation

 

In Zapier, you can then use the action Add Subscriber to tag to add the tag that you need to start the automated campaign in MailChimp.
