Question

How do I update paid B2B orders from Xero to Shopify?

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hey :)

We are looking to move to Shopify and are trying to find a way to handle our customers who pay on 30 days terms.

I can get orders from Shopify to Xero for invoicing and payment, but I’m not sure if its possible for Xero to communicate back to Shopify to update the B2B order as paid.

Does anyone know if this can be done?

Hey @Bob Le Bob ,

Yes, this is possible. Will your customer pay via the payment link that is generated on XERO Invoice?

Hey, not via the link - but the invoices would be marked as paid in Xero

Ok. Than this is possible, just make sure to add a custom field on XERO to record Shopify Order Number.

You can try with below method -

Trigger - XERO - New Payment

Now you will have to make custom API calls to search for Shopify order id and change status to paid. These actions are not present right now on Zapier. Please find the details below to make custom API call

Action 1 - Search for Shopify Order - Link

Action 2 - Create a Transaction - Link
