Is there an option to Create a Zap for a Highlighted Mention in a Slack Private Channel, to alert via SMS?

I am trying to connect a specific Highlighted mention to alert me via SMS, from a private slack channel. I see the options for private channels are for all mentions, and I have one set up already for another channel but this channel needs just the highlighted mention. Actually, I have 4 total private Slack channels that could have this mention posted, that I would want to be altered to. Any way to do this via custom settings, or something I am missing? TIA!

Perhaps as an alternative use the Slack mobile app and make sure you have notifications turned ON?

 

Otherwise, in the Zaps you’ll have to use these steps.

TIP: Configure for 1 Private Channel, then simply duplicate the Zap and edit the trigger step.

 

Trigger: Slack

 

Action: Filter https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help

 

Action: SMS by Zapier: https://zapier.com/apps/sms/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Good question.

Can you post screenshots to clarify what you mean by a highlighted mention?

Try using a Filter step in the Zap: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help

Sure! In the preferences of my Slack, I can add keywords/mentions to notify me directly. I would also like to receive these notifications via SMS. These keywords would be posted in several different private channels and I would need SMS notification for all of them, if possible.

Set up keyword notifications

You can set keywords to trigger notifications about topics that are important to you. Whenever someone uses one of your keywords in a channel you've joined, you'll receive a notification and see the keyword highlighted in yellow.
