How do I prevent Zapier from automatically converting a date?

Hello,

I’m beginner in Zapier.

For some reason, Zapier automatically converts a date to another format that I don't want… Anyone have any idea why this is happening? (I don't do any formatting in the zap!)

Initial date format: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pbl7q8i7tyekcto/Zapier-bug-date1.jpg?dl=0

Output (after testing the zap): https://www.dropbox.com/s/bi0k0i2xep0bk85/Zapier-bug-date2.jpg?dl=0

Hi @ThierryB

Good question.

To clarify, it’s GSheets that’s interpreting and reformatting as a date/time rather than as a timestamp.

The “T” is being converted to a space, and the milliseconds plus Z are being removed.

It seems that this works in Google sheets !

How do I convert a Date to a string in Google Sheets?

Type Date as Text

By starting a cell with an apostrophe you tell Excel to trade that cell as text. This keeps the date exactly as entered and prevents it from being converted to a date stored as a serial number.”
