CapsuleCRM tags in Drip

I’m very new to Zapier so apologies if this is a silly question.

I am successfully adding a new CapsuleCRM contact as a Drip subscriber, except that the tags aren’t displaying correctly.

I only want the tag name not the id etc. How do I extract just the information I need?

It’s unlikely that you’ll be able to do any data transformation in the Zap using the Zapier Free Plan as that usually requires Zaps to be multistep which requires a paid plan.

Hi @amhope

Please post screenshots of how your Zap steps are configured for use to review and advise, thanks.

There’s not really much to it, it is simply creating the subscriber with first name, last name, email address and tag. Here is a screenshot of the action step.

When you’re testing the Zap steps manually, make sure to use a trigger step record that has the mapped data points populated.

That’s not really the problem. I have the correct data and that gets passed into Drip, I just need to separate out the information.

This screenshot shows how the tag “BNI” is displayed in drip. I only want the “name” bit.

@amhope

Will there be only 1 Tag or multiple Tags?

If multiple Tags, then you may have to use the Looping app: https://zapier.com/apps/looping/integrations

Then use the Drip Add Tag to Subscriber action step in the Zap.

There could be multiple tags.
