How can I record date in Google Sheets via Zapier?


I am looking to record an event date in google sheets.  I tried the =today() formula in google sheets, but the date changes as time passes.   What can I input in Zapier, to record the correct date in a google sheet row, and it not change as days pass.

Thank you, but I am looking to do this without the time stamp.  I only want the date.

Use this Zap action: Formatter > Date & Time > Format

You can change the format of the timestamp to be only the date

Hi @LeasingXpert,

+1 to what Troy suggested. You can use Date & Time formatter format function to remove the timestamp. Here’s how to set it up:
