Good question.
One workaround is to use the WPForms Webhooks add-on: https://wpforms.com/addons/webhooks-addon/
The Zap trigger would be Webhooks - Catch Hook.
We do not have an Elite account in WPForms so that is not the option

This screenshot shows Zapier is already connected in WordPress.
You can check your Zap app connections here in Zapier: https://zapier.com/app/connections
It sure does but when you go to zapier it says I need to reconnect it but getting the error (see the screenshot from my original message)
Try disconnecting in both apps then reconnecting.
You may need to try different orders of operations.
Otherwise, you can try opening a ticket with Zapier Support for further assistance troubleshooting: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
