Is there any way, including creating a Zap, to monitor the app connections and get a notification when an app needs reconnected?

    Zapier should send notifications for issues with app connections.

    Check your Zapier Profile notification settings: https://zapier.com/app/settings/notifications

    Zapier Manager has some related options for Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/zapier-manager/integrations#triggers-and-actions
