How can I create a Zap to auto-respond to client emails with a daily joke and a drafted detailed response?

Hi!

 

I could use some help creating a new zap.

 

Here’s what I’m trying to do:

 

When a new email comes in from an active client, I want the client to automatically be sent an email with a short "thank you for your email" message PLUS a joke of the day. I then want a more detailed response to be generated by ChatGPT and saved to my drafts folder.

 

I will how one Google Sheet spreadsheet that lists all active client email addresses that should be included in the "trigger" action. I will also have a separate spreadsheet that lists what joke to use on a specific day.

Hi @misspepperboyer 

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: Gmail - New Email
  2. Action: GSheets - Lookup Row
  3. Action: Filter
    1. Check if email exists on GSheet
  4. Action: GSheets - Lookup Row
    1. Find Joke
  5. Action: Gmail - Send Email
  6. Action: Gmail - Create Draft
