Google Apps Business Limitations

Hi,

According to this article, Common Problems with Gmail, consumer gmail accounts no longer work with any unapproved apps which is really the majority of them. This is a bit of a disappointment considering one of the main reasons I signed up with zapier was for the integrations with Todoist.

Has anyone found any workarounds to make this happen? I’m trying to create a task in Todoist when emails from a particular sender come in.

I’m not opposed to signing up for a business account with google but it is a little strange as I don’t have a business and I’d have to create a domain name.

Nevermind, figured it out. The solution is to create a new spreadsheet row in Microsoft excel (because that’s an approved app) and from there send it to Todoist.

I was coming here to recommend the spreadsheet workaround! It’s a good one.
