Help with HubSpot / Google Contacts Integration

Need a way to streamline zap for HubSpot changes to Google Contacts. Currently this is a three step process, hoping to trim to two steps.

Thanks.

Hi @TESPeeps Thanks for the extra information here.

There isn’t a way to shorten the Zap with this one, sorry about that! You need the ID for the Contact from Google Contacts so that you can to tell Google which contact to update, this means that you need the Find Contact step.

Sorry that there’s no shortcut with this one!

Hi @TESPeeps

It might be hard, but we can try. Can you talk us through what your zap does each step?

The zap is triggered by a change in a HubSpot contact or company.

Currently step 2 is searching for the existing contact in Google Contacts

& Step 3 is the updating of that Contact in Google Contacts.

I would like to eliminate step 2.

All of the Contacts and Companies live as contacts in Google Contacts.

Does this give enough information?

Could you save the Google ID in Hubspot (in an unused field) when the contact is initially created in Google?  Then you’d already have it in the contact.
