Can you find Salesforce custom metadata in a trigger?

Is it possible to search for metadata when using a Find Record trigger with Salesforce? I can search for my custom metadata type and select it from the Salesforce object list, but I get this error when I select it. The use case is that I have a lookup table stored in metadata that matches my Shopify product names to the General Accounting Unit ID in Salesforce. I can’t use Shopify’s SKU field because the tip feature doesn’t have a SKU, so I’m stuck with having a lookup table by name. Any help appreciated!

Hi @causemickelsey

Error: "we’re having trouble loading ‘Object’ data"

If you run into this error, this means we couldn't find new objects with the name "" or that we're currently not able to use this object type.
You can report this to support.
