Facebook Pages don't show up Blog RSS feed to facebook post Zap

Hello everybody,

I am new to Zapier and tried to set up a connection between the rss feed of a blog and facebook pages. The issue here: the drop down menu for pages in the set up is empty. There is no option to pick, even though my facebook account is conncted. I tried deleting and reconnecting it, but still doesn’t work. I’ve got collaborator (or editor?) access for the pages. Is that the problem? Do I need an admin access to set up this zap?

Thank you!

Hi @Natalja

Good question.

I can't see any pages in the dropdown selector!

If your pages are empty, that is a Zapier + Facebook permissions issue! To fix:

  1. Go to https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools&ref=settings and search for or scroll down to Zapier.
  2. Click the "edit" button and look, does Zapier have permissions to see pages? It should look like:
    Facebook Permissions
  3. If pages permissions are missing, just click the "remove app" link:
    Remove the app from Facebook
  4. Go to https://zapier.com/app/settings/authorizations and add/reconnect Facebook Pages again and click allow/yes for all permission screens.

Start using your new connection with all the pages included!

The problem is solved. I needed admin access to connect facebook pages. 😊
