L.S.

Hi all,

after trying pretty much any configuration I have been able to come up with, and applying what I read, I just have no other choice but asking for help.

this is the workflow I am trying to implement:

  1. if an email in outlook with a specific subject called “training request” is received then
  2. create a draft google calendar event with the following content:
    1. date of the training (included in the body of the email)
    2. location (included in the body of the email)
    3. customer (included in the body of the email)
    4. sales agente (included in the body of the email)
  3. send an email to the Training Director asking for approval
  4. if approval is given then convert draft event to published event

How can I do this?

thanks a lot in advance!

Hi @L.S.

Welcome to the Community! Thanks for your interest in Zapier.

Here is how I see the Zap for the workflow that you have in mind:

  1. Trigger (Email Parser by Zapier): New Email
  2. Action (Filter by Zapier): Only continue if subject exactly matches training request
  3. Action (Google Calendar): Create Calendar
  4. Action (Microsoft Outlook): Send Email

Would this help you out? Please let me know if you need more information or details regarding the suggested workflow. Also, you can check out suggested workflows for Google Calendar/Microsoft Outlook from our website:

Hopefully this helps!
