Anyone experience with HubSpot Custom Objects and zapier?

Hey all!

For one of my clients we have created a custom object in HubSpot. I need to update this when someone fills in a form. This is not possible straight away in HubSpot so i am looking at Zapier. I just do not think Custom objects can be used in zapier. Has anybody experience with this?

Hi @Jorg Maijen 

You can create/remove associations between HubSpot objects via Zapier, but not sure you’ll be able to create/update custom HubSpot objects via Zapier.

Check out the available HubSpot triggers/actions/searches: https://zapier.com/apps/hubspot/integrations#triggers-and-actions

 

You may have to leverage the HubSpot API to interact with custom objects via Zapier: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/overview

App APIs can be using in Zaps with the Webhooks app: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Hey @Troy Tessalone ! Thanks for you answer. It is not possible with the triggers and actions unfortunately. I asked a HubSpot support agent as well. They think it is not possible. I was just wondering if there is someone who has done this. I can imagine that HubSpot rather have clients to take a license of the Operations Hub than with zapier..

This will be the way to go, although it much more of an advanced approach that uses technical concepts.

You may have to leverage the HubSpot API to interact with custom objects via Zapier: https://developers.hubspot.com/docs/api/overview
