How can I automate conversion of Excel files into Google Sheets using Zapier?


I have a process that drops a ExcelFile.xlsx into a Google Drive folder (call it Folder1).

I want Zapier to pick it up this file, convert it to a Google Sheet, and save it to Folder2 (overwriting any previous copy of the file that is currently in this folder)

I am new to Zapier so please feel free to be over descriptive :)

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: GDrive - New File in Folder
  2. Action: GDrive - Replace File
