Notion item has wrong date when created from New row in sheets

markkoeks

I have a zap that listens for a new row and creates a database item in Notion. However, the date is different in Notion (-1d) than it is logged in Sheets. See attached. I feel like this is time zone related but not sure where I would edit this. When I tru to format the date in Zapier, I’m formatting the correct date “2023-09-01” which tells me something is getting messed with the transfer to Notion.

Any ideas?

Hi @markkoeks,

Yes, this looks like it may be a timezone issue.

First, I would recommend playing around with the timezone and format in your Formatter step.

I imagine UTC might be the timezone it is defaulting to.

If this is happening every single time you put in a date, you could use an Add/Subtract Time Formatter step to add 1 day as a workaround.

Hope this helps!

This happens for all zaps - the Notion date is -1day. It’s not unique to the 2023-09-01
