Parsing Slack Messages for airtable

Hello all,

I am trying to populate an airtable table from Slack messages, and each entry has two columns that need to be populated from the message. The problem is, Zapier can only parse out the text of the message as a whole, but there does not seem to natively be a way to take parts of the message and put it into multiple columns.

I am not sure if this is a Zapier problem or a Slack problem, but wanted to know if anyone had any ideas on how to accomplish this?

Hey @punsach I had a similar problem a while back, and while @ikbelkirasan is correct - A code step will work, Formatter is a great way to quickly split the message if the parts are the same each time

@punsach You can parse and extract data you need from the Slack message using a Code step.
