Zoho Backstage 500 error and other fields

Hi!

I just got an email from Connor with good news that an update was made, this is great!

Three questions:

  1. I’m getting a 500 error every time I test, is this a Zoho Backstage issue or a Zapier issues?
  2. Can we make COMPANY NAME and DESIGNATION available fields?
  3. For general flexibility, can not all the fields be mandatory?

I’m glad that the issue on your previous post has been resolved!

Also, I’m so sorry to hear you're running into a 500 error - those can be really frustrating! I just wanted to let you know that this type of error can happen for a bunch of different reasons - sometimes it's because the server is overloaded with traffic, or the data being passed is too big.

Since this is an issue on the other app's end, it's tough to say exactly what might be going on. But the good news is that these types of errors are usually temporary and tend to resolve themselves once things calm down a bit.

Regarding your second and third question:

Before we dive deeper, I just wanted to check in and see if the "Company Name" and "Designation" fields in your Zoho Backstage app are custom fields?
