Unnecessary trigger of Customer Update in QuickBooks Online Zapier app

Forum|alt.badge.img

Hello Community,

Hope all are doing good!

I have a strange situation. Whenever a new customer is being added at QBO then Update Customer Event is being triggered at Zapier which is wrong. Update Customer Event should be triggered only when any update happens into an existing customer but adding a new customer is wrongly triggering Update Customer event too.

Anyone has some suggestion about this, please?

Thanks

Hi @WilCompute,

My hunch here is that you may be running into a Zap loop here. Here’s an help article talking about about Zap loops:https://zapier.com/help/troubleshoot/behavior/zap-is-stuck-in-a-loop

Additionally, is there any Zaps that might be causing this Zap loop (similar Zaps using similar steps). If so, could you please send a screenshot of that as well?

Thanks! 😊

Hey there @WilCompute,

Before we dig deeper into this, please share a detailed screenshot with how your Zap is configured.

Thanks! 😊

@ken.a Thanks for your quick reply.
Here is the detailed ss
in first Screenshot it is a Zap by which one new customer is being added into QBO. When the new customer is being added into the QBs it is triggering the Zap mentioned in second ss which should not be triggered as by first ss a new customer is being added not an old customer is being updated.

If you need more details, please let me know.

Thanks
