Resolving Contact ID selection issues in CallTools Calendar Event integration with Quickbase

When integrating a Calendar Event (in this case, a Meeting), one of the steps involves using "Calendar Event by Contact ID" to retrieve the Contact ID information. However, during the integration process, it selects the same Contact ID for all Calendar Events. Could someone assist me with resolving this integration issue?

Hi @SHIRAN PILO

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

Hi @SHIRAN PILO, welcome to the Community! 🎉

If it’s returning the same ID every time then it could be that a static value was entered or selected for the event. I’m not seeing a “Calendar Event by Contact ID” action available for Call Tools PCC but there’s similarly named one, Get Calendar Event Type by ID—is that the one you’re using?

If so, and you’ve already mapped the relevant ID field (using the Custom value option) from a previous trigger/action step in the Zap but the contact ID it returns is incorrect, then it might be a bug you’re running into. 🤔 In which case I’d recommend getting in touch with our Support Team to investigate further. If it is a bug they’ll be able to open up a bug report to have the developers of the Call Tools PCC app get it sorted.

Either way, if you can share some screenshots as Troy mentioned that will help us to get a better idea of what might be causing the issue here. Make sure to blur or remove all personal information (names, emails, addresses etc.) from screenshots before sharing - you can use a tool like Zappy for that.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
