I run a Shopify store and am starting a paid community on discord. I want my customers to pay to be in the community through Shopify and have them automatically get sent an email with a discord server invite once they pay. Is this possible through Zapier?

As Troy mentioned, knowing what options are there for the apps is a good first step! Shopify does have this trigger:
With that as your trigger step, you could certainly set up an email template with the relevant information on your Discord profile.
