Zapier shows data field but when Zap works data does not appear in a created Google Doc

Hi @Nethbacca - happy to try and help here.

First off, can you take a screenshot of how you have the placeholders setup in the action step - we can check for any issues there.

Have you tested this zap live before? If so it would also be useful to get a screenshot from the logs of the output data from the step where the template is created.

Here is a screenshot of the placeholders set up in part 2 of my zap:

This is a good representation because Security Deposit = text field; LBP Disclosure = yes/no checkboxes; and Recurring Payments = checkboxes

Not sure how to get a screenshot from the logs of the output data from the step where the template is created. Is this output data below the window of "Send Data" option?

As for the logs, if you go to the History tab, you’ll see a list of all the times the zap has run. Find an instance of this zap then open it.

Inside you’ll find something like this:

Can you get the “Data In” and “Data Out” section for that second step of the zap.

Ok thanks @Nethbacca - your first post was a little contradictory. Is it only non-text data that is appearing, or everything but non-text data appearing?

Sorry for the confusion. It is only text data that is appearing. Non-text data is not appearing.

Ok, can you try this @Nethbacca - for one of the non-text fields can you pass it through a “Formatter->Utilities->Line Item To Text” step and then map the result of that into the template.

Test and see if that makes a difference.
