I have a zap set up with a few years now and all of a sudden something is not working recently.

This is the set up of the ZAP: New typeform > Finds card on trello > updates card on trello with the type form info > attatched photos from the typefrom to the trello card.

But recently zapier has an error with pulling in the photos. usually in trello I can see the photo attached to the card without having to click into the card. like so:

As you can see Aideen has 22 attachments and Mike has 10 attachments (all photos) and none of the photos show without me having to click into the card and download the photo onto my computer and open the zip file.

how can fix it so that the zapier pulls in the photos and also shows them on the card above the persons name without having to click into the card and download the photos.

Hi @Calum Tivy

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap step 4 is configured in EDIT mode with the field mappings visible.

Make sure the images are not being uploaded as a .zip file.

If there are multiple files, then you can use the Looping app to iterate.

Hi @Troy Tessalone

Here are some screenshots. Originally there was 4 attachments in the file section but because the AI was saying that the problem was that the file section was too long I deleted 2 attachments and duplicated this step and added the other 2 attachements into it. but before there was any errors at all there was 4 attachemtns in one step and it worked perfectly

@Calum Tivy

Some things to try:

  • Try converting the files to line items via Formatter > Utilities > Text to Line Items
  • Try processing each file individually using Looping iterations: https://zapier.com/apps/looping/help

You can click field labels to see tooltips with more info about the expected values and valid formats.

Hi there, @Calum Tivy 👋

Did the Formatter or Looping apps that Troy suggested do the trick?

Keen to ensure you’re all set—let us know if you need any further help! 🙂
