Hello! I’ve been researching various ways to pull a shipment’s tracking # status (i.e. label created, in transit, delivered) and automatically update an Airtable record with that package’s status. The only app I’ve been able to find that could do this is something called Trackmage, but it will show a package as in transit even if just the label had ben created. Has anyone had experience doing something similar to this and could provide some insight? Thanks so much.
Hi there
Is the shipment’s tracking number coming from a commerce app or service like Shopify, or ShipStation? If so these apps (and more!) have integrations on Zapier and you can review the commerce integrations here: https://zapier.com/apps/categories/ecommerce.

Yes, I am generating shipping labels in ShipStation. However, ShipStation does not have any actions or triggers available with Zapier to pull a shipment’s status, so I am looking for a workaround.
Hi
Looking at the Shipstation integration, you could use a trigger to update your airtable when the package is shipped (ie the label is created) but you’re right that it wouldn’t update the shipment beyond that. I took a look at the ShipStation API (the piece of code that allows it to communicate with other apps) and it isn’t currently to get shipment updates via the API, so it’s not something that you’d be able to do using a Zapier right now, I’m sorry about that!
We do have a feature request open for the option to trigger from different order statuses and I’ve added you as an interested user. This lets the ShipStation team know how many folks would like to see this addition and also means that we’ll send you an email when we have an update.
