I have gotten my zap to post a message in my chosen discord channel when a new google form response is added, but I was expecting it to post the response, not a message saying “New response added”

I took a look at setting up a similar Zap, what I think you may be looking for is adding variables in your Message text. So in the “Message Text” of the Discord section, you should see options on what to include that will look a bit like this, and you can select the response.
