Xero Sales Invoice - Line Item Tracking Categories

When creating line items it uses comma separated lists to create each individual list, I have tried do the same for the tracking categories but it doesn’t seem to work.

If I manually input a single tracking category it will assign that value to both, but with a comma separated list nothing happens. 

What am I missing?

I’ve been taking a look into this and discovered there’s a feature request related to this. It seems the Tracking field doesn’t currently support line items and as you’ve already discovered, any value added to it will be applied to each invoice line item. 

I’ve added your vote to the feature request for adding line item support to the Tracking field. I can’t give any estimate as to when that will be sorted but we’ll be sure to notify you by email as soon as it is. :)
