WordPress ran into an issue. Error code 403 - authentication failed

I am having some issues connecting Zapier with Wordpress. it was working perfectly fine up until last week and now I have tried to reconfigure/reconnect but it doesnt work at all. I have attached the screenshot of the error.


We hit an error adding your new account

authentication failed: WordPress ran into an issue.   1. Make sure you click "Allow" or "Accept" on the permission popup
  2. Double check your Account has the correct permissions

how can I fix this, any assistance would be highly appreciated.

Hi @pashamemon 

Try this fix:

If it doesn’t work, think of any plugin you have installed or whether you have updated your Wordpress right before the error begun appearing, you can disable that plugin or downgrade to resolve the issue.

I have tried all that, even I have tested it on a new WP site it doesnt work at all.

I have sent multi messages but have not heard back from the support team. I have pay for a subscription which doesnt even work. its was working fine upuntil 6th July after that there has been no changes to our wordpress site. please assist us asap pleas.

I’ve taken a look at it seems that you responded to the reply from our Support team on 5th August. We then replied with some follow up questions and instructions that same day, but we’ve not received a response yet. 

Would you mind having another check for that email? If you still can’t see that email, please could you check your spam folder? And if it’s not in the spam folder, please try searching your whole email inbox for emails ending in ‘’.

Hopefully that’ll will help to locate it! :)
